Photographed during a number of short visits to Venice in 2016 to investigate the city’s relation to the cruise ship industry, Welcome/Not Welcome combines pictures of anti-cruise-ship protests, pictures from Venice Seamen’s Club, where the crew members who usually don’t get to visit the city are welcomed, and tourists making their way across the city.
